PEOPLE
UNLOCKING CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND
LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
At Accupac, we want our employees to meet their full potential. During the 昀椀rst week of work,
employees participate in a series of training courses that cover the history of the company,
safety, quality, and more. They also complete formal classroom training, online training, and onthe-job training to support onboarding. Department and role-speci昀椀c development programs
then provide additional professional growth opportunities. Our philosophy and approach are
outlined in the Career Management section of our Employee Handbook.
RETENTION AND DEVELOPMENT
• Career Management Policy: shares our commitment to hiring and developing employees.
• Skill Level Program: Our skill level programs provide hourly employees a clear roadmap for
skill development and promotion opportunities within the organization.
• Front Line Leader Program: Our Front-Line Leader Program equips supervisors with essential
skills to e昀昀ectively lead teams on our manufacturing 昀氀oor. As part of this initiative, we
conducted 昀椀ve in-person training sessions over the course of 昀椀ve weeks. These sessions
covered critical topics, including understanding the role of a supervisor, delegating tasks
and time management, communicating respectfully in the workplace, resolving con昀氀icts,
and e昀昀ective coaching and feedback. This program empowers our front-line leaders with
the practical skills needed to enhance team performance.
• English as a Second Language Course: With 47% of our employees speaking a language
other than English as their primary language, we recognize the importance of supporting
language development. To meet this need, we o昀昀er an English as a Second Language (ESL)
course, providing employees with the opportunity to improve their English pro昀椀ciency. In
2024, thirty-three employees participated in the onsite English immersion course covering
writing, reading, speaking, and comprehension skills. The course is conducted during the
workday, allowing employees to attend on company time. Building on the positive feedback
from the inaugural course, Accupac is expanding the ESL initiative in 2025 by introducing
a Level 2 course.
• Mentoring Program: Our Mentoring Program is designed to foster professional growth by
pairing mentees with members of the Accupac Executive Leadership Team. The program
begins with a formal orientation to set expectations and goals. Over the course of several
months, mentor-mentee pairs engage in meaningful discussions and activities tailored
to address the speci昀椀c developmental needs of each mentee. This structured approach
ensures that mentees receive personalized guidance, leadership insights, and support in
achieving their career objectives.
