To build on this momentum, we have developed an energy reduction and decarbonization
plan that leverages insights from each facility’s energy 昀氀ows and usage. This plan identi昀椀es key
reduction opportunities and focuses on three core areas: employee-driven behavior changes,
facility energy management, and equipment upgrades.
• In order to promote behavior-driven changes to our energy consumption, we implemented
three sustainability trainings for our exempt employees. We have trainings that address
GHG emissions and Accupac’s contribution to climate change mitigation. Through the
education of our employees, our areas of emphasis are assisted and our employees are
provided with knowledge to align our collective actions as an organization.
• In 2024, we launched our Turn Stu昀昀 O昀昀 Campaign to encourage behavior-based change.
This initiative encourages employees to switch o昀昀 lights and equipment when not in use
to reinforce energy-saving habits.
• Our e昀昀orts to improve facility energy management prioritize measurement and veri昀椀cation
schemes, enhance standard operating procedures for equipment usage, and engage
employees in promoting energy e昀케ciency.
• Equipment upgrades focus on ensuring that existing equipment is e昀케ciently meeting the
needs of the company and 昀椀nding suitable replacement equipment when needed. We
optimized lighting on the production 昀氀oors, including rightsizing lighting for our needs and
updating 昀椀xtures to high e昀케cacy options. Additionally, we have installed energy monitoring
devices for speci昀椀c equipment to improve tracking and analysis of our energy usage.
